sweets for Valentine’s Day

It’s been seven days since I left the country and the last time I saw wifey’s face. I really miss her so much that I want to go back the soonest possible time. But, that will depend on the processing of my working visa, which is the reason I exit the country. Life here isn’t so easy especially that I’m alone with her around. That’s why when I go back I wanted to celebrate with her probably dining out and had some great movies together.

I’m also praying that I can go back before Valentine’s Day. Even if I’m miles away from her I’m still looking for ways to surprise her for that special day. Currently, I’m considering several Gourmet gifts at Sharis Berries. There is no doubt she will be very happy to receive sweets as she loves it. I also love sweets, but not that much. Still, I’m going to eat it with her because it makes it more special. Plus, Sharis Berries sweets are really special. Oh well, I’m just hoping I will be back before Vday.

it would be late Christmas gift

Christmas is already over, but I still haven’t given wifey anything. Salary didn’t come before Christmas day that’s why it would be a late Christmas gift. It’s better late than never, right? But, I will keep my word and will give something she will really like, which is a bunn coffee maker. I’m sure she will love this.

Throughout seven years of our relationship, wifey never miss a day without coffee. Her day is off if she misses one. She can start a day with just a cup of coffee. She used to make her own coffee. But, recently when she started working, I’m the one preparing it because she has a little time in the morning. The only problem is that I’m also started going to the office. So, giving her a coffee maker will make life better and easier. She can even bring this coffee maker to the office to share with her office mates. That way she can sip her favourite coffee whenever she feels like it.

new year is about to unfold

Merry Christmas everyone! It’s a bit late, but it’s better than not greeting at all. Anyway, a new year is about to unfold. So, this is the time to get rid of things that are unnecessary to start fresh and clean. That is exactly what my cousin is doing – clearing out his closet.

Even before Christmas, he started sorting his stuff. Unfortunately, he has so many that took him time to finish. It would be a waste to just throw all those unwanted stuff because he works for it, just that he never really uses it. Plus, some of it is still new with price tags on it. So, he decided to hold a garage sale sometime next year.

However, I suggest him the use of pop display and racks. These point-of-sale fixtures can attract the attention of clients. So, it will be easier for him to sell all of his stuff. Customers can easily see the merchandise and they can help themselves. I’m pretty sure buying these fixtures are a great investment because he can use it over and over again in the future. With his shopping attitude, garage sale is expected to happen again in the future.

helping him to find a job

The day after tomorrow, brother of wifey will be returning to live with us again. But, I will have to encourage him to get a job even temporary. Wifey and I cannot afford to handle all the expenses. Our salary isn’t too big to add one more person. That’s why as early as now, I am trying to look for Coroner Jobs or any other jobs he might like.

He might think I’m meddling too much over his life. I don’t want to do that if I had enough money to live comfortably with him around. But, it will be a burden in our finances if he stays too long with us. So, I need to find a way to tell him about the job vacancies without hurting his ego.

Well, getting a job is for his sake. That way he won’t have to stay in the house the whole day sleeping. He will have some money to spend for whatever he needs while being able to build some friends. At least that is the best reason I can think of.

I can’t blame wifey for being stressed for the last nine days. She is not used in total cover up whenever she goes out of the house. Here, she needs to wear the proper Islam clothes, which she doesn’t have. So, she needs to wear at least five clothes other than her underwear to conform to the law. Add the stress of waiting for our visas to be released.

For that matter I promised her a shopping spree for keeping her patience high. It’s the best medicine whenever she is stressed. There is lots of clearance lingerie I found while I’m doing some web surfing although I’m still unsure if she will like the design or style of those items. She still hasn’t seen it, but for me it fits her tastes. Well, we are just hoping that everything will go on smoothly.

sister is now wearing eyeglasses

It’s not a secret that sister has a bad vision especially for reading, which started during her 20s. For years, she opt using contact lenses because it doesn’t get in the way of her face. Plus, she can choose from varying colors that suit her hair color. Whenever asked if she will use reading glasses, she will always say no. I’m not sure what changes her mind because she posted a picture of her new eyeglasses.

She does have some taste – will not name drop the brand. One thing is sure, it’s a pricey brand. But, it’s worth the penny because it looks good on her. Well, I haven’t talked to her yet that’s why I still don’t know the reason that changes her mind. If I were to be asked, I would prefer she wears eyeglasses since it’s much convenient than putting contact lenses, besides she has a very nice eye wear.

I learn to live with it

Before, whenever I receive coins from people, I spend it immediately or drop it in coin cans. I don’t keep it because it makes my wallet heavy. I also find it a bother keeping them. Sometimes, if I’m not lazy I could drop them in my piggy bank at home. But, often I make sure to get rid of it that’s why I have nothing to use whenever it’s needed. It’s the reason wifey gave me a coin purse to at least have loose change.

However, situation has change. Now, my purse is rigorously doing its job as I’m keeping most of my coins because it’s frequently use especially in buses and taxis. It’s like I can’t do without it or else I don’t have anything to pay for my rides. It’s a bit heavy, but I learn to live with it just that I need to change my coin purse every so often.

fed up with the cold room

I’m already fed up with the cold I’m feeling every day of the week. It’s like a punishment to me for all the whining I make when I’m still in my home country. Now, we have an AC, but it feels much more like a freezer. The only choice we have is to shut it off once in a while especially if we can no longer bear the cold.

Whenever it feels unbearable, we often take a hot shower. Actually, even if we want a cold shower, we still end up having a hot shower. But, it’s better that way at least the hot water eases the cold. If we only have a pool with pool heat pumps we could soak a little more time. We could enjoy the hot water with all the people here in our flat. It would be more relaxing than taking turns in the bathroom.

preparing her perfect birthday gift

Wifey’s mother will soon celebrate her birthday. The big day is on the 4th of November to be exact that’s a few days to go, the reason wifey is busily preparing her perfect birthday gift. Unfortunately, she needs to send it immediately because we are miles away from our home country. She searched the web for different gift ideas.

Of course, she doesn’t forget to send her flower. It’s her favorite thing to receive more than anything else. If possible she wanted the flowers of a designer breed at ProFlowers. Even if I were to rate it, the flowers are really pretty, perfect to make any woman smile to happiness. They look modern, trendy, fabulous, and expensive, but it doesn’t have a big price tag. I’m sure wifey’s mom will be delighted to receive it.

However, flowers can’t be the gift alone because she will look for other items. So, we really need to send some other item to make her birthday really special and to complete her day.

first short-term goal I’m going to fulfil

The first short-term goal I’m going to fulfil is buying a term life insurance. I used to have one back home, but I discontinue it because I need huge amount of money before going here. I make a choice letting go of other expenses and tighten my budget to accumulate the amount for fare and accommodation. Now, I’m back to zero. Not sure, if I will be able to continue the old one or will be able to withdraw some of it. If not, then there’s not much I can do other than purchase a new one.

Oh well, I’m glad I take the liberty of saving a number of information where to buy the insurance. I know I can use it in the future. Actually, it has become a habit to save different information I gathered when doing web surf. I spend so much time in my computer before since I don’t have a regular job. At least now, I can always go back to the information without having to spend so much time and effort.
