J. Lo DROPPED as American Idol Judge

According to the recent news, American Idol is in trouble again as one of the rumored replacement judges, Jennifer Lopez, has already been dropped from the new line-up because she was too big a diva. Rumor had it producers wanted to go back to the 3-judge format, bringing in Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez to sit next to Randy Jackson. But that too is out of the question now, People magazine says.

With just one month to go, JLo had to be dropped as a potential judge because producers were not able to finalize the deal with her, one insider dishes. It’s not that the singer had a change of heart or anything about accepting the job, but rather that producers suddenly realized she wasn’t a good pick when she started to make almost impossible demands.

Lopez, who has somewhat of a reputation for being an outrageous diva, reportedly started reaching too far in her negotiations with the producers and the network – and was eventually sent home. “Her demands got out of hand,” says the source for People. “Fox had just had enough.” ‘But now that Lopez is out of the running, the network may be looking at their earlier top picks again,” People adds. As is usually the case with such situations, neither Fox nor a spokesperson for Lopez was immediately available for comments.

With Jackson being the only judge left, not few have been those saying that American Idol is literally breathing its last breath as we speak, since part of its appeal with audiences was the wonderful chemistry between the judges. Even if replacements are found in due time (and they probably will), this also means that Fox has to go the extra mile to make sure the chemistry between them is the right type, kind of like Cowell had with ex-judge Paula Abdul, ideally speaking.

Ellen DeGeneres quit ‘American Idol’

After just one year as a judge on the panel at American Idol, television personality Ellen DeGeneres has announced her decision to step down. In a statement released to E! Online and on her Twitter page as well, Ellen says the decision was not a rushed one but rather one she reached after many months of consideration. In other words, she just doesn’t feel like the right person for the job. Sadly, this is not all the drama that is now going on at AI, TMZ also says.

“A couple months ago, I let Fox and the American Idol producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me. I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next. It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for. I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings. I loved the experience working on Idol and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be,” Ellen says in the statement.

“Sources connected with the American Idol negotiations tell TMZ Kara DioGuardi has judged her last contestant on American Idol – because she’s been fired. We’re told the show will be going back to a three-judge format and assuming all deals are finalized, the judge’s panel will consist of Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler. We’re told the only way Kara could get a reprieve is if the J-Lo deal falls apart – but we’re told that deal is done,” TMZ writes.

With this also being Simon Cowell’s last season (with a rumored replacement in Steven Tyler), rumors in the media are starting to pick up that American Idol can’t possibly survive with just one of the judges audiences have come to know and love. In the context of falling ratings over the past couple of seasons, it could very well be that the once-popular show is breathing its last breath.

Most Popular Login Platform

I won’t deny that I’m one of the million fans of facebook. I actually check it out every day to see what my friends are up to. Other than that I’m also a great fan of zynga  games especially the café world and some other game called social city.

According to the news, Facebook is most popular login platform on the web in comparison to Google or Twitter. The data from Gigya shows that, 46 % of people prefer Facebook when logging into third-party websites. The social network was bound to have a strong presence, but it looks like it’s close to dominating the market. Google comes in at a distant second with 17 percent of logins followed by Twitter with a surprising 14 percent.

Yahoo also has a strong presence, with 13 percent, and MySpace is the only other provider that counts with 7 percent. It should be noted that plenty of these, including Google and Yahoo, use a common system, OpenID, for the authentication process.

Hmm, it all means I’m one of the people making Facebook rise to popularity.

Rihanna’s Fearless Post for Elle

Well what can we say? Rihanna has come a long way from where she was a little over a year ago, both in terms of her personal life and her career in music. The July 2010 issue of Elle magazine is very illustrative in this sense, bringing a full feature an interview with the singer, who talks about anything and everything, from fashion to music and, yes, her new boyfriend and other personal matters.

“A year ago, I was very confused because [Chris Brown] was my best friend. All of a sudden, one night changed our whole lives – not only our friendship, but our lives. I wanted to wake up one day and just not have that pain anymore. I have a boyfriend now, I’m so happy. I feel really comfortable, and it’s so easy. I have such a chaotic life, but at the end of the day, that is just my peace. It keeps me sane, really, talking to him and talking to my family,” Rihanna explains.

In the same interview, she also talks about how honored she was to be asked to be the face for one of the latest collections from Gucci, saying it was a real wonder how the fashion world was opening up to women of all shapes and sizes. When she went to a Jean Paul Gaultier show a while back and she saw “thicker” girls than her, that’s when she knew she too could make a name for herself as a fashionista.

And this was precisely the image she worked hard to create for herself. “I wanted pictures that represented strength and fearlessness but still femininity – a strong woman who can be vulnerable. Every woman is made up of vulnerability and strength; no matter what race you are, no matter what you’ve been through in your life. Every woman has that strength that is undeniable, but we also have really big hearts. It’s just us,” Rihanna says of the artwork for her latest album, “Rated R,” and the promo materials for it.

Lindsay’s Photo with Gun to Her Mouth Causes Outrage

The former music video director and currently esteemed art photographer Tyler Shields chose Lindsay Lohan for his latest spread, which will be included in his upcoming book, “The Dirty Side of Glamour.” In a few shots, the actress is pictured with a gun to her mouth, which has already gotten people talking as to the appropriateness of such a thing, especially given the ongoing scandal, as People magazine informs.

“Hard to believe, but Lindsay Lohan’s life just got a bit more controversial. Less than a week after her father brought cops to her house and she was named a suspect in the theft of a Rolex watch, Lohan had the Internet buzzing after posting a photo of herself pointing a gun at her mouth on her Twitter page,” People says. Some celebrity bloggers are even more blunt than that, asking whether Lindsay should do this for attention when she’s become the favorite topic of all the tabloids, and rarely because of good things happening in her life.

On his official page, Tyler Shields does not explain the meaning behind the Lindsay Lohan photoshoot – he never does that, no matter his client. He does say, however, that much has been written about the actress recently, so he was positively thrilled when she accepted to pose for him.

Jessica Simpson doesn’t like to brush her teeth?

Is this a joke or what? It sounds too ridiculous and way too funny. Jessica Simpson doesn’t like to brush her teeth and will occasionally use a sweater to clean them?

Believe it or not, but Jessica Simpson does not have a very healthy diet or, at least, there was a time when she couldn’t be bothered too much about that. Another thing that does not really keep her up at night is whether she brushes her teeth twice a day, the minimum recommended (varying according to whom one asks). Instead, if she needs to clean her teeth, she will just use a sweater, Jessica said laughing. Whether she was joking or not has not yet been determined.

“I don’t brush my teeth. No, really! I just use Listerine – and sometimes I’ll use my sweater. I do brush every now and again, but my teeth are extremely powerful. Fine, maybe when I’m 60 I’ll all, ‘ow!’ [...] Growing up in Texas for me, fish was a fish stick. We weren’t really the healthiest of people. [My mom] didn’t force me to eat healthy,” the singer explains during the interview.

What a news it is… Hehehe
