a promised to myself
Whenever I go back to my hometown, I always passed by the grade school where I graduated. It’s a small school that lacks school furniture. That’s why I keep a promised to myself that when I become rich I will surely donate furniture and school supplies. I’m sure kids are more motivated to study using new items.
I’m not forgetting that promise. Until now I always have that in mind even if no one is there to remind me. I want to do something not because I want my name posted in the wall of the school. But, rather I want to give as a sign of gratitude that the school is one of the reasons of who I am today and what I achieve. I’m just looking back for old times’ sake.
