hoping to happen

I have been hearing a lot of my friend’s wedding proposals and invitations. Our age is somewhat the right marrying age. And, I feel I’m already left behind as most of them are younger than me, let’s say two or three years. Part of the reason is my ambitious plan to have a luxurious wedding.

Since I think I still have the option, I won’t settle for less. I will give all that I can to make my plans possible. If it doesn’t happen until my planned time, then that is the time I will give up. But for now I will just have give myself the freedom of planning for the best.

I’m actually considering the luxurious destination weddings I found at Karisma’s resort collection located at the secluded white sand beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya. Azul Blue in the Riviera Maya is the world’s first stress-free hotel. We all know that weddings bring tension and stress to couple. And, everything at Azul Blue has been created to nurture your inner peace. They offer luxury suites overlooking the Mexican Caribbean. Each guest will have their own dedicated full-time butler that willingly unpack the suitcase and draws an aromatic bath while you walk down to the beach and nap on one of their four poster cabana beds.

Isn’t that relaxing? Well, that is what I want to happen. Hopefully it happens.

ensuring great vacation with parents

I must say that traveling with our parents can be a wonderful experience if we plan well ahead. Here are things we must do to ensure that we will have a great vacation together with our parents.

  • Itinerary should not be too fast paced – Old folks tend to get tired easily and thus it is not advisable to include activities that are too strenuous. It is also not advisable to pack too many activities in the itinerary such that you and your parents have to rush from one place to another.
  • Ensure that everyone has ample sleep – Plan to have at least six to eight hours of sleep for you and your parents for each day of your vacation. Try to avoid having any more activities after 11 p.m. Prepare some hot water for your parents to soak their legs before bed time if there is a fair amount of walking in the day.
  • Prepare ample supply of their medication – If your parents are suffering from diabetes, asthma, hypertension, high cholesterol or any other illness, make sure you obtain ample supply of medication from their doctors to last for the whole trip. To ensure that you remember to bring the medication, create a checklist of things to bring and put their medication among the top five items on that list. As a safety precaution, ask them to carry a medical record of their illness and contact details in case you are not around when they need medical attention.
  • Healthy diet – Most old people do not take heavy meals and thus you need to plan for multiple light and healthy meals that are low on salts, oil and sugars but high in fiber. Always have a sandwich or high fiber biscuits in your bag in case they get hungry and there isn’t a snack bar in the vicinity. Also make sure that you and your parents drink a lot of water to prevent dehydration.
  • Bring along a first aid travel pack – Your first aid travel pack should contain medication for fever and diarrhea, cold symptoms and giddiness. It should also include a thermometer, tweezers, sharp scissors, safety pins, adhesive bandages, sterile gauze, adhesive tape and antiseptic wipes. While this list is not exhaustive, the stocks in the travel pack should be enough to cater to most conditions that require general first aid assistance. Do check the expiry date for those medications that you bring along to ensure that they are safe for consumption.

Herb Fragrant Oil

Basically, this oil can be used as a pleasantly fragrant massage agent for sore muscles, combined with boiling water and inhaled for nasal congestion, or combined with softened beeswax to make an antibacterial salve for skin problems.

  • equal parts almond oil and olive oil.
  • fresh peppermint leaves (or other aromatic herb),  enough to loosly fill jar
  • 1 tbsp rubbing alcohol, to discourage mold a few drops benzoic tincture, to keep herb oil stable   (available at   pharmacies and health food stores)

Put the peppermint leaves in a glass jar and cover with the oil mixture. Add the alcohol. Cover the jar, put on a sunny windowsill, and let this steep for at least 2 weeks. Strain and bottle the infused oil. (The strained dregs make good compost.) Add the benzoic tincture.

To make the antibacterial salve, heat equal parts  beeswax and herb oil, enough to fill a small lip balm  container Some herbalists like to add equal parts  vitamin E oil (good for any skin treatment) and  anhydrous lanolin (also available at pharmacies and  health food stores) along with the beeswax and herb  oil. The more beeswax you add, the firmer the salve.

studying the basics of business

September 26, 2009 by Denz · Leave a Comment

Being in the medical field, it is really difficult for me to jump into the business world. I know nothing in managing a business. Managing a business operation may seem easy, but it’s not. And I can’t take chances because its hard-earned money that I am putting in line.

The best way is to study the basics of business. The only way to do it is to get an online university degree. I can’t go back to regular or traditional school because I can’t stop my work. I have to feed my family and going back to regular classes would definitely mean jeopardizing my income. If ever I’ll finish a business degree program, I am sure I will gain confidence that I can manage my business well.

For a long time I know Capella University offers a number of degrees online. This school is an accredited and fully online university that is a leading provider of master’s and PhD degrees for working adults, like me. Capella offers graduate degree programs in business, which is I really need, information technology, education, human services, psychology, public health, and public safety, and bachelor’s degree programs in business, information technology, and public safety. the greater risk, the greater return

September 26, 2009 by Denz · 2 Comments

I have been sharing my intention to start a business with my friends and ask for advice and possible business ideas. They told me that I should consider venturing the money market because it yields greater income. However, I can’t just venture just yet because I can’t even take low risk business opportunity.

Trading in the money market is a very risky thing. It does offer big returns, but it also entails greater risk. Of course, it is uncertain whether or not an investor will earn or lose money while trading. Both can be the result.

However, there are ways to lessen the risk in the money market trading like the forex for instance. For now there are already Forex Signals that could be very helpful for investors to make the best decisions. These signals also enable a trader to determine the best time to enter or exit a trade. From this, traders can stop worrying about learning a complicated system that might not work well for them that may result to losses.

For options trading, options trading strategies are already available from professionals. Basically, options trading give the investor the right to buy or sell a stock in the future. The good thing about is its versatility from conservative, aggressive, or somewhere in between. And one can benefit from the rise or fall in stock price without actually owning the stock.

With all that I still need to check on this emini trading. This is really new to me as compared to the other two I discussed earlier. As I check the page it’s talking about T-bond. My head is spinning as to what that could be. Still there is an automated system that is presented.

Despite the fact that everything is laid out automatically, I still need to learn how things are done the hard way. It would be a plus factor if I do that. Even learning the basics would be a great help. As for now, I must the right signal for me whether or not I am into it.
