best thing to do this summer

What could be the best things to do this summer? That is aside from staying inside the house because of heavy rainfalls due to different typhoons going in and out of the country. I have been thinking for a while about that. I haven’t had problems when I was single. I just do whatever that pleases me without the need to consult anybody or think about somebody’s welfare.
Now that I am no longer a bachelor, everything changes. I gave up many activities I used to have before for the sake of our relationship. And, I have to think of activities that will please us both.
By accident, I have seen cruise holidays promos in the web. Of course, out of curiosity I checked what is inside the page. I have seen different kind of cruise destinations. The most interesting for me are the river cruises. I really want to see how a big river would look like, a nile cruise perhaps. That would be too earthy, nature experience like the way I want it to be.
I guess there is no other way how it would feel like, but to experience it myself. The problem now is that I haven’t recovered yet from my almost bankruptcy. Cashing out money now is a bad timing. I will just wait when the tide is out and let’s see if I can afford it already.
