Keep your place clean. Many insects and rodents are attracted to food and water, so making your home unattractive to pest is a good start. Dispose of your garbage regularly. Keep garbage cans clean of food residue. Wipe all spills immediately with soap and water. Wash dishes immediately. If you can’t get to them yet, soak them first in soapy water.
Keep the bathroom and kitchen areas as dry as possible. Fix leaky faucets. Buy good quality faucets. Don’t let standing water accumulate. This is breeding ground for dengue-causing mosquitoes.
