Researchers discovered that when people were given two identical red wines to sip, they got much more enjoyment, as measured by their brain scans of the pleasure centers, from drinking the one they were told cost more. This study shows that the expectations affect the experience itself. In that case, you don’t have to buy so expensive wines especially at this time of crisis.

I have been saving for quite some time now. Well, I want to spend it for a vacation. I still don’t have any ideas as to where. I may get one of those Disney vacations my friend’s keeps on talking or just a local vacation here in my country. But, I am not pretty sure. I still have to weigh things now. If I’ll get a magical kind of vacation that means in Disney, I still have to do several preparations. If I’ll get a local vacation there is nothing much to do. But, I won’t be able to go some place abroad. I think it will take a lot of thinking before I can make a decision.

I have been searching the web for some Christmas presents. I think doing it early could save me from the hassle and bustle of the holidays. And, I have a sufficient time to settle everything if something goes wrong. So, I do it as early as now. Well, I prefer online shopping than going to local malls. But, I still have to, even though I don’t like being with the crowd since my partner loves to do it.
I am looking for unique Christmas presents for men and women. Of course I am giving presents to my parents and my in-laws that I never given them before. And one way to do this is through the web. For my partner, well, I have learned some lesson that is to let her choose her stuff. Since, she is so picky in terms of her stuff. In fact, last month I bought her a blouse and she never wears it. But, she really appreciates it and put it in a frame. Such a nice thing to do for a present, I can almost cry. So, that is why I’m letting her do everything. I will just accompany her and pay for the thing that she picks. This is the best way I think not to waste money.
Jordan like Bobcats’ majority owner?

Last Friday Jordan told The Charlotte Observer that he would be interested in taking control of the Bobcats from majority owner Bob Johnson if and when he decided to sell the team. Jordan said in a story on the newspaper’s that when Bob wants to step aside, he has no problem stepping in and saying, ‘Hey, look, I’d love to take control of this franchise! But Bob said that he’s not at that point now.
In fact, last 2006 Jordan bought a minority stake in the Bobcats and Johnson gave him total control over the team’s basketball operations. The fifth-year franchise has never made the playoffs and Johnson has acknowledged losing millions on the team, which has struggled to draw fans. Johnson, the first black majority owner of a major professional sports team, told The Associated Press last month that he was not interested in selling the team. Well, until know Johnson and Jordan have no additional info regarding this issue.

One of my climbing buddies recently asked for my help. He called me up because he wants to get his girlfriend a gift that she will never notice not until Christmas arrives. So, he asked me if he could address the shipping delivery for his Oscar de la Renta orders. Well, I don’t mind that besides we are good friends. I don’t want to be nosy, but I am curious about the gift. LOL!

For a month now, I have been busy preparing for a big event that will happen on the last two days of November, which is a secret by the way. Because of that, I forgot about almost everything including the purchases I made last week. It’s been four days and yet the Harley parts I ordered for my father has not yet arrived. I would not remember it if my partner did not remind me. I have to check if there is something wrong. But, before I could pick-up the phone, the doorbell rings and the parts arrive just in time.
